For this Tactical Tuesday we are gonna take a look at steps. No, not literal steps. However steps to get to our goal accomplished. This step a lot of people overestimate how much it can really help. With breaking a MASSIVE task down into several steps, you can feel accomplished while making progress towards those goals and feel accomplished while working toward our goals. Let’s look at an example.
Learning a new language. Do you think you just one day decide “oh hey I’m going to know French”. While that future is on the way not quite here just yet. But you wouldn’t learn how to say window, door, house without context. Best way to build your knowledge of words would be with steps. Think back to school and math we didn’t go from 1+1 to 4×65. We must build our way to our goal. This weeks task is gonna be to write down your final goal and break it down into 5 steps (it can be more or less), then break those steps down into 3 steps and make your own customized path. Lets go back to the language example. Learning French, broken down into 5 steps could be as followed:
- Greetings
- Colors
- Food
- Activites
- People
To further the example break those down into 3 more steps
- Greetings
A. Greetings
B. Casual Talk
C. Departing
And so forth
After breaking it down in such a manor, we can assign the smaller goals to each week of the calendar to accomplish those goals. Check out another Tactical Tuesday post for those details on utilizing a calendar. If you manage to finish the goal for the week early, go over it again. If you finish the weekly goal on Wednesday, push yourself to study it again to make sure you got it. After all practice makes perfect. Always push your to be better than the day before and you will be unstoppable.
Is this easy? It can be. Is this quick? Not really. Is it worth it? Yes, you know why? Cause you are worth it. Do what is on your heart and you can’t be stopped. Need help I’m here for you reach out and we can work on it together.
You are UNSTOPPABLE
You are WORTH IT
You are AMAZING
Stay awesome and Get@it.
