As we head into a Feeling Good Friday, we like to remind you of your progress towards your goal and keep up the great work towards your goal.
However, Feeling Good Friday is about, well, you. Taking care of yourself VERY important. If you know what it is you like to do with yourself to help relax and unwind after a busy week of progress, then please take some time and enjoy yourself. Ranging from going bowling with friends to meditating in solitude, whatever it is that you truly enjoy doing, please take time and enjoy yourself. You deserve it for all you have done. Not even entirely towards your goal but just in life in general. Maintaining the house, keeping everyone safe, and providing for everyone. You rock and deserve a break.
Self care is very important to maintaining mental, and physical health. As long as it something to just escape your mind and forget about all those responsibilities for a little while. For those with kids, do not be afraid to ask fellow parents or friends to watch your kid for a little while and enjoy your time. Statistics show that those who take even an hour a week to do something they have fun doing can change our moods, keep up better motivated, even have better insight to make better progress.
So go get that pedicure, hit those bowling lanes, head out and hang with friends or flex those yoga bones. Whatever it mistake that time recharge, refresh, and zen.
