Welcome to Another Tactical Tuesday.
Today we are gonna look at,
Accountability
I know, I know how can this be a Tactic right? There are several ways you can make this into a tactic.
For those people who need to have someone check on their progress, you can set up a coach who can not only give you expertise help but also hold you accountable for not making the progress you meant to do. Intimidated by strangers? Ask a friend to contact you from time to time and ask how your progress is going on that project that you are working on.
For those “APP-aholics”, there are more then enough apps that you can set up as a reminder to make progress through your day. Weather its an alarm saying “GET TO WORK” or an inspiring song goes off to help motivate you (JUST ONE STEP!!! by Caleb Hyles). If one app doesn’t work, there are a hundred others to try.
Put a white board in a spot where you are, without a doubt, gonna see it. Fill this up with your goals (and subgoals), your why (what keep you going), a reward for accomplishing that goal (Reese’s yum), and maybe a motivational quote (You can never finish, If you never start). Putting this in your towel closet is not a good spot.
These are just a few examples how you can be held accountable.
We want to hear from you. What is your method of holding yourself accountable? Who knows. Maybe you can help someone find a better method than they were previously using. Or you could find a method that outdoes your own. Never know. All different angles, perspectives, and thoughts are welcome.
Stay awesome and Get@It
